- Hello, I am writing to ask a question that I am sure that you are tired
- of (possible). I couild look it up, but I do not really have the time
- and resources to do so. I need to know what a reasonable time to learn
- C & C++.
- I have never taken a course in either. I have seen extremely rudimentary
- Code. I do not know PASCAL. I know COBOL, BASIC, and snips of others.
-
- Don't flame me for being a COBOLer, it's rough enough. :-)
-
- I pick things up kinda quick (I'm not RainMan)
-
- I need to know in order to accept/reject a project.
- If you could please indicate references that you consider outstanding or
- the like it would be greatly appreciated.
- Books and such. I also have the same question for UNIX.
- how long to get a FIRM grasp on it.
-
- And what should I do to learn either, the ~Quickest~?
-
- I appreciate your time very much. Thank you
-
- James
